The Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) has dedicated its win over America to the late Sound Sultan.
Last week Saturday, the Nigerian Basketball Team won their United States counterpart in a whopping 90-87 victory.
On the victory, Nigeria became the first African team to win the United States National Basketball Association popularly known as the NBA and the strongest in the world.
But the NBBF has dedicated the victory to late Sound Sultan who died on the night of the game.

The association paid the tribute to the ace Nigerian singer who contributed his own quota to the growth of Basketball in the country while he was alive.
According to the statement by the NBBF, the singer saw this day coming and predicted that one day, the Nigerian Basketball Team will conquer the world but unfortunately and coincidentally, their victory came on the day he died.
