Nigerian pop superstar Wizkid has called Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari to step down from office over the loss of lives during the past few days.
This is coming hot on the heels of what is now known as Lekki genocide or Lekki massacre. Yesterday some protesters were killed by the Nigerian military at the Lekki toll gate.
Wizkid has been active on social media pushing for the end of SARS and police brutality in Nigeria. The young musician also protested on the streets of London some days back.
With the ongoing killing and destruction of properties, Wizkid has urged President Buhari to step down from office. He also said the VP Yemi Osinbajo and the IG of Police should equally resign.
@MBuhari you are a failure! Old and incompetent! Step down! We don’t want you, your Vice President and your IG! Resign !
