Growing up Don Jazzy quickly learnt about music as a kid while playing the bass guitar in his local church. Since then he has moved on to become a multiple award-winning music producer in Nigeria. He has worked with several Nigerian musicians including D’banj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, Ikechukwu etc.
Don Jazzy has a long catalogue of music production credit to his name, having produced a ton of hits during his entire. He co-founded Mo’Hits Records with D’banj and after the split founded Mavin Records.

While they were still partners Don Jazzy produced D’banj’s monster hit ‘Oliver Twist’ in 2011. The song won several awards both in Nigeria and abroad. Dorobucci
In 2014 Don Jazzy was in his elements and he produced the mega-hit song ‘Dorobucci‘, a Mavin Records all-star record. It featured Tiwa Savage, Di’ja, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Dr Sid and D’Prince. It was an instant banger and was really the song of the year as people started adding a ‘Doro’ prefix to their name. The song won Song of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2015.
God Win
Don Jazzy came through again when he made the beats for Korede Bello‘s ‘God Win‘. It was an election year in Nigeria at the time the song was released in 2015 and the tune became the official victory song for elected politicians or anyone who had a reason to thank God. ‘God Win’ was so good it was a hit on the secular and gospel music scene. Mr Endowed & Mr Endowed Remix

‘Bumper 2 Bumper‘ is one of Wande Coal’s classic tunes produced by the veteran music producer Don Jazzy. This and other song helped establish the name Wande Coal in the Nigerian music industry.
Surulere
Under Mavin Records, Don Jazzy produced ‘Surulere‘ for Nigerian musician Dr Sid in the year 2014. It was a fan favourite from Dr Sid’s sophomore album ‘Siduction’. Dr Sid’s ‘Surulere’ was played in radio stations across the country and due to popular demand, a remix was done with Wizkid and Phyno.
Eminado
