Do you know who a client is? Okay. Let me clear the air and stop assuming you know who a client is.
Simply, a client is that person who BUYS or PAYS FOR what you SELL or OFFER.
You get that definition? Cool. Its as simple as that.
While you are a client to someone, another person or even the same person maybe your own client too.
Take for instance.
You sell provisions. Someone buys from you. The person that bought the provisions from you is a tailor. You also can be the client once he sews for you.
That’s the way it is.
Now, have you ever felt like buying something for buying sake?
You bought because you needed it, right? Cool.
Now, you put your products and services out there and no one comes to buy… You keep wondering if there’s one Aye somewhere.
Check it. Your strategy is not okay!
Before I show you how to get those clients, let me expose the four types of clients that we have and the one that is best for you.
1. WILLING BUT NOT ABLE TO PAY CLIENTS
These set of people sees your products out there, they were sold to by the great content. They have the willingness to buy but no money at hand.
2. ABLE BUT NOT WILLING TO PAY CLIENTS
These ones have the money with them but no matter how you persuade them, they will never buy your products.
3. NOT WILLING AND NOT ABLE TO PAY CLIENTS
As you can see from the above. They are not impressed by your copy. They just don’t have the zeal to buy from you and they don’t have money too.
4. WILLING AND ABLE TO PAY CLIENTS
These ones are willing to buy from you and they have the money too.
Now let me ask. Who among those four would you like to have as your clients?
I guess right. The fourth one.
If you noticed, one common thing ties all of them together. That is, DO THEY NEED THE PRODUCT?
Once you have settled this before creating the products, here is one way to get clients that are ABLE and WILLING to pay you:
SPEND TIME WITH YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE
Once you have known your target audience, you simply go after them. If its online, chat them up. If it’s offline, go where they usually hang out and make ‘selfless’ friends with them.
Note: Don’t sell at first meetings.
