South African Music Awards 2020: Davido’s ‘A Good Time’ album wins Rest of Africa Award

Nigerian singer Davido recently won the ‘Rest of Africa’ award at the South African Music Awards 2020 for his album ‘A Good Time’.

The 26th edition of the South African Music Awards is ongoing and for its first episode, Davido was announced as an award winner in the ‘Rest of Africa’ category.

‘A Good Time’ by Davido won the ‘Rest of Africa’ award ahead of other albums like; ‘Blossom’ by Sha Sha, ‘YPSZN2’ by PsychoYP, Isabel Novella’s ‘Metamorfose’ and Sarz x WurlD ‘I Love Girls With Trobul’.

The South African Music Awards (SAMA) 2020 is hosted virtually with no attendees, Davido’s win was announced via SAMA’s official twitter handle.
