It’s been a week of controversy involving Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage and Hot 98.3 FM OAP Misi.
Its all began when the opinionated OAP Misi said Yemi Alade had a better vocal range while Tiwa Savage was only a shouter while performing. The criticism didn’t go down well with the “Ma Lo” crooner, who later made suggestive post on Instagram alleging Misi begged her for money in the past.
In a chat with Sunday Scoop Miss Molu said she wants the Mavin Records first lady to prove her point if in deed she referred to her in her post.
“Personally, I don’t believe she was talking about me. But if she is, she needs to show evidence to that fact. The situation has been blown way out of proportion than what the intentions of the discussion were actually meant to be. People are giving it way too much credence.”
When asked what provoked the comparison, Misi explained that the kind of industry they operate in makes for such comparisons from time to time.
“The type of industry we are in; we are constantly faced with comparison. For example, I have a colleague I’m constantly compared to at work. I did my job by showing my personality as an on air personality. The only problem is that some people do not agree with my opinion and that’s fine.”
