A lot of people looked out for this collaboration between Kizz Daniel and Wizkid. At long last Vado premiered the lovely ‘R&B’ song which lots fans fell in love with and have made several dance videos for the tune. ‘For You’ makes the list on number 3.

 

5. Wizkid – Fever

‘Starboy dey for you…’ that would be the most memorable line from the song. The tune is one of the most viral records made by a Nigerian artiste this year. Wizkid used Tiwa Savage as his video vixen and Nigerian entertainment couldn’t get enough.

6. Burna Boy – Gbona

Without a doubt, ‘Gbona’ is one of the best songs this year and was done by the Afrofusion star Burna Boy. Everyone goes wild when this line ‘when the gbedu the enter body’. The video amassed great numbers on YouTube within a short time of release.

 

7. Frank Edwards – Thy Will Be Done ft. Nathaniel Bassey

Flavour - time to party ft. Diamond Platnumz

Fondly called the King of Nigerian contemporary highlife, Flavour teamed up with Diamond Platnumz for his song ‘Time To Party‘ a premium mix of highlife and bongo music. the video is one of the highest grossing Nigerian music videos on YouTube.

9. Tiwa Savage – Lova Lova ft. Duncan Mighty

After the success of his song ‘Fake Love’, Duncan Mighty instantly became a hot stuff, highly sought after. Tiwa Savage linked up with the veteran singer to make the remarkable tune ‘Lova Lova’ as produced by Spellz.

UK based Nigerian rapper & singer scored a massive hit with ‘Issa Goal’. The song got even bigger with a remix as the 2018 World Cup drew near. Top stars Simi, Falz etc featured on the remix.

Closely following ‘Issa Goal’ Remix is ‘Road To Russia’ by industry pals Olamide and Phyno. It was made and especially dedicated to the Super Eagles during their 2018 World Cup campaign.

DMW boss Davido recorded his biggest hit ‘Assurance’ with the single dedicated to Chioma his girlfriend. He made a lovely video which is the second most viewed Nigerian song on YouTube this year.

 

17. Chinko Ekun – Able God ft. Lil Kesh, Zlatan

Chinko Ekun has had an outstanding performance this year owing his mega street jam ‘Able God’. He pulled it off on the Rexxie produced beat with Lil Kesh and Zlatan Ibile.

 

Starboy - “Soco” ft. Wizkid x Terri x Spotless x Ceeza Milli

This song right is arguably the biggest song out in 2018 from many quarters and we couldn’t say any less. Wizkid together with Terri, Spotless, Ceeza Milli made the best gbedu for any kind of party and festivity.
