‘The goodwill of Nigerians have sustained me in politics’ – President Buhari

General BuhariIn a narrative set up together by the Media and Publicity bureau of the State House titled: “Buhari: Beyond the Iron and Steel”, the president credits open altruism for remaining in governmental issues. He stated:

“I pray five times a day thanking God that allowed people to understand and believe me. This goodwill that I enjoy from the masses is what is keeping me in politics and of course, my central objective is to provide transparency and accountable government.”

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun who showed up in the one-hour long narrative portrayed President Buhari as a “reformed democrat”.

And also He said: “I wish I had his patience. He would listen to everybody, and then take a decision. He is a reformed democrat.”
