Mavin Records artists Johnny Drille is one the front of MyStreetz Magazine’s most recent issue.
Publisher of the magazine, Sesan Adeniji, says:
Out there in the music business, there’s a false story used to portray what the present fruitful tune and incredible artistes should seem like. This unconfirmed theory driven by people who just observe in popular vogue like dance music as the main measuring factors to determine fruitful creative delivery, is the catalyst being utilized to deny a variety of overpowering quality music content radio airplay and cast shadows on artistes that produce these materials. Amidst this variation from the norm, artistes like Johnny Drille gathered under elective music keep on thriving regardless of his adventure with his music class on a road less travelled.
Not too long ago, some one of a different group of artistes that radio left for dead made a subconscious development with the hashtag #f*cktheradio. It was an eye opener. Until we as a whole advance outside of our sentimental music limits, and witness the fan base controlled by our alternative artistes, until at that point, we can’t completely have a grip of the happenings in various territories in the Nigerian music industry.
